Overview of Our Introductory Highlight Video Packages

Our introductory video packages are designed to provide a polished, professional wedding coverage at an economical price. This is achieved by sending one skilled videographer who utilizes multiple cameras and external audio recording devices to ensure comprehensive and high-quality coverage of your day.

Camera Setup and Coverage

During the ceremony, up to three cameras are used to capture various perspectives:

  1. Two Stationary Cameras

    • Positioned at different angles to record fixed views of the ceremony.

    • These cameras remain in place, offering consistent ceremony angles.

  2. One Roving Camera

    • Operated by the videographer, mounted on a handheld bracket.

    • The videographer moves strategically to capture dynamic and close-up shots based on the moment. For example:

      • Procession: Positioned to capture the faces of those walking down the aisle.

      • Ceremony: Moves discreetly to ensure key moments are recorded from the best angles.

When the video is edited, this setup creates the impression of having more than three camera angles, giving the final product a polished, cinematic look.

Professional Audio Capture

To ensure crystal-clear sound quality of all of the important moments, audio is captured using dedicated recording devices rather than relying on the cameras' built-in microphones. The following techniques are used:

  1. External Audio Recorder

    • Connected to the venue’s soundboard (if available and permitted).

    • Captures high-quality audio directly from microphones used during the ceremony, such as:

      • A podium microphone for readers.

      • A handheld microphone for the officiant.

  2. Mini Recorder for the Groom

    • A discreet mini-recorder with a lavalier microphone is placed inside the groom’s jacket pocket.

    • Ensures vows and other key moments are captured clearly, even if the officiant’s microphone isn’t close enough.

  3. Reception Audio

    • A separate audio recorder is connected to the DJ or band’s soundboard (if available).

    • Captures perfect audio of speeches, toasts, and announcements, regardless of microphone movement.

Final Product

After the wedding, highlights of the day are edited together into a stunning Highlight Video approximately 8 to 15 minutes long. This video seamlessly combines:

  • Footage from all cameras for diverse perspectives.

  • Audio from all recording devices for clear, professional sound.

The result is a cinematic representation of your special day that you’ll cherish forever.
